You Found Your Lobster!!
First of all.....
Now that we got that out of the way lets focus on F-R-I-E-N-D-S, shall we? I don't know about you guys but I absolutely love Friends and have watched it more times than one could count! How could you not love the amazing cast and unforgettable quotes?! I KNOW!
It's no surprise that the ever popular tv show is becoming even more and more popular! Whether you watched them when they first aired (I'm guilty and proud of it!) or you were lucky enough to see them for the first time while binging on Netflix. We can't help but love everything Friends related! With that being the case, Friends themed bachelorette parties are all the rage right now! So much so that I'm currently planning one myself - Tabitha if you are reading this you need to P-I-V-O-T along to another post!
Don't worry ladies I've got your back and have put together your guide for planning the most epic bach bash that even Monica would be soooo jealous of!
Let's get started with the basics...
Invitations
I'm a sucker for formal invitations, I know that's very Monica like. But maybe your more like Phoebe or Monica who would probably opt for the much easier and just as effective digital invites! Here are some of my favorites for each option!
Decorations
As I mentioned earlier, I am currently planning a Friends Themed Bach for my soon-to-be sister in law! I'm going to give you a sneak peak at my decoration preparations and let you know where I got everything!
My planning began with a basic color story pulled from the icon F-R-I-E-N-D-S logo and Monica's apartment: Red, Blue, Yellow, and Purple (specifically more of a lilac purple like the walls in the apartment!) Naturally I want these colors to be -literally- everywhere possible! I got lucky and even found an Air BNB that has colorful patio chairs overlooking the mountains... could that BE even more perfect!?! To make the colors pop I've decided to have an emphasis on balloons and banners. Not only will they make the rooms feel festive, they will also be wonderful for photo backdrops!
Since a mixture of colors can become a little tacky and overwhelming I am focusing the major balloon statements on being just purple - which let me tell you, lilac balloon arches were not the easiest thing to find. I am determined to make them happen though so I got crafty and found some pastel purple balloons on amazon that I can mix together for my arches! Once the purple is up then all the smaller red, yellow, and blue accents will pop even more! Time to share my sketches... and yes I K-N-O-W that I am once again pulling a Monica with these.
Food & Drinks
OMG there are sooo many amazing options its hard to even know where to begin! Probably the most infamous friends food would be Rachel's trifle. How much fun would it be to make the bride take a bite?! Make it into a fun game or challenge, who doesn't love a good dare?!
There are beautiful friends themed cookies and cakes out there you can hire a professional to create for you! I opted for this route with cookies. I'm not going to lie, I am obsessed with elaborate cookie decorations!
If you're not wanting to hire someone to make the foods, consider some of these options! Little meatball sandwich sliders in honor or Joey's favorite sandwich! Some small cheesecake bites that are delicious enough to eat off the floor. Anything coffee inspired by Central Perk related is sure to be a hit! Here are some of my favorite foodie ideas!
Finally, my favorite section!! Lets talk tshirts, shall we?! In my opinion t-shirts can have the biggest impact on showing off your theme. You could technically forego all other decorations and just have shirts which will say it all!
